About Shiga: who we are and what we build

The company behind Enta and Pulse — what we build, and the Africa–Gulf corridor we serve.

The company behind Enta and Pulse — what we do, why our products are built differently, and the corridor we serve.

Who we are

Shiga Digital is the company behind Enta, your wallet, and Pulse, our engine for businesses. We build financial technology for the corridor between Africa and the Gulf — the flow of money, trade, and people between places like Lagos, Abuja, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.

We didn't pick this corridor by accident. Our team comes from it — with backgrounds spanning international banking, commodity trading, and years of moving money across these markets the hard way. We built what we wished existed.

The problem we're solving

Money in this corridor is hard at every level — not just when it moves:

  • Storing it: when your local currency is inflating, there are few honest, accessible places to keep what you've earned.

  • Moving it: transfers that should take seconds take days, with middlemen taking a cut at every step.

  • Managing it: businesses juggle multiple currencies, multiple banks, and multiple countries — usually with spreadsheets, phone calls, and hope.

  • Trading it: converting serious amounts between currencies means chasing quotes across brokers and never being sure you got a fair rate.

Traditional finance has underserved and overpriced all of this for decades. We built a stack that fixes it end to end.

Enta — the wallet, rebuilt from first principles

Most wallets took the hardest parts of crypto — the jargon, the setup, the feeling that one wrong move ends badly — and shipped them straight to the user. We refused to.

What makes Enta different is how it's built:

  • Nothing to install, nothing to remember. Enta opens in your browser. You confirm your email once with a one-tap link, register a passkey on your device, and from then on your face or fingerprint is what signs you in and approves every payment. No password, no seed phrase, no authenticator app.

  • A record you can check for yourself. Your balances and transaction history are recorded on public blockchains rather than in a private database on our servers. Every transaction has a View On-Chain option that opens the entry in a public block explorer. If our systems have an outage, the app stops — the on-chain record doesn't change.

  • Losing your device isn't losing your account. Account recovery is designed in from day one, not bolted on: a recovery email address and an identity check, then a mandatory 72-hour security wait that any signed-in session can cancel.

  • Real coverage, plainly labelled. USD₮ across seven EVM chains plus Solana, Tron and TON, XAU₮ on four EVM chains, and BTC on the Bitcoin network and Spark — with the network cost shown per network before you send.

  • Built for companies too. Business accounts get multi-person approval rules, spending controls, and team roles — the governance of a corporate bank mandate, enforced automatically on every payment.

Preserve it. Move it. Own it. That's the whole product in six words.

Pulse — the engine businesses run on

Pulse is for companies that move and settle serious money across the corridor: paying suppliers, settling trades, collecting from customers in one currency and paying out in another.

What makes Pulse different is what it does underneath:

  • One connection, every route. Pulse plugs into multiple banks, payment networks, and liquidity sources at once. Your business connects once; Pulse finds the best route and rate for every transaction, automatically.

  • Best execution, not "a" rate. Instead of taking whichever quote you were given, Pulse checks its routes and executes at the best available price — the way a trading desk would, without you needing one.

  • Accounts in your own name. Accounts are opened in your company's name — not pooled in ours — so the flows are traceable to your business from end to end.

  • No surprise fees. Pricing is captured in the rate you're quoted — what you see is what you settle at. No invoices arriving later.

You never touch the plumbing.

Beyond the products: treasury, cash management, and OTC

Some needs don't fit in a self-serve product, so we work with businesses directly:

  • Treasury management — helping companies hold, allocate, and protect working capital across currencies, so idle money isn't losing value in the wrong place.

  • Cash management across borders — structured flows for businesses collecting and paying out across Africa and the Gulf every day.

  • OTC desk — for large conversions, we execute directly at institutional rates, with a human on the other end.

If your business needs any of this, get in touch — this is what we do.

How it all fits together

Enta and Pulse aren't two separate bets — they're one stack. Enta is the experience, Pulse is the engine: the routes, the liquidity, the settlement. Businesses on Pulse get institutional-grade execution; individuals on Enta get the same rails with none of the complexity. Everything we run for others, we run for ourselves first.

And we do all of it while working with regulators, not around them — inside the system, raising its standards.

What we believe

Money should move as easily as a message. Your savings should hold their value. And you shouldn't have to take anyone's word for what happened to your money — the record should be one you can go and check yourself, on a public chain, whenever you want.

That's what we're building. Thanks for being part of it.
