The Send feature lets you transfer stablecoins (such as USDT) to another wallet address, or convert them to local currency and send to a bank account. Stablecoins are ideal for fast, low-cost payments, remittances, and transfers.
Open the Send interface
From your Shiga dashboard, click Send. You'll see two options:
To Wallet Address — send stablecoins to any external crypto wallet.
To Fiat Account — convert stablecoins to local currency (GBP/EUR or NGN) and send to a bank account.
Send to a wallet address
Under Assets, click Select here and choose the stablecoin you want to send (for example, USDT). Make sure your balance covers the amount.
In the Amount field, enter the value you want to send.
Under Send to address, paste or type the recipient's full wallet address. If they're saved in your beneficiaries, pick them from the Select Beneficiary dropdown to auto-fill the address.
Add a Description to note the purpose of the transaction.
Under Smartchain Network, choose the network for the transfer, and make sure it matches the recipient's wallet.
Click Proceed, review the details, and confirm.
Authorize the transaction
Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your email, or — if 2FA is enabled — the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Once confirmed, you'll see a success message and can close the window.
Tip: Always double-check the wallet address before sending. Blockchain transactions are irreversible — one wrong character and your funds could be lost forever.
